We have our first home!!
The question recently has been what do you need and how can I help? So here are a few different specific needs from large to small and everything in between:
💫A washer and dryer to keep everything smelling nice.
💫An electric stove for our resource center for all things oils, lotions, soaps and such. The women will not only learn job skills with that stove, but also camaraderie and community, as lessons are taught with each drop of essential oil poured into these lovely spa products that support these ladies and their future. Online ordering of these products are coming very soon!
💫Visit our Target registry for everything from towels and dishrags to pencils, laundry detergent, flashlights, security cameras, dishes and trash bags- ALL the things- there are so many- don’t forget nail files and fire detectors- truly- all the little things. We appreciate every small and large purchase as the girls truly settle into being “at home.”
💫Plants and flowers, gardening tools, soil, planting pots, shrubbery and porch pretties- we want the front and back porches to be filled with beauty, fragrant flowers and a space for conversations and prayers filled with truth, love and grace, mixed with tears, laughter and joy to bring authentic restoration and hope.
Financial donations are always welcome of any amount! The breakdown of specifics are these opportunities to change many lives for generations to come.
$9 per day $275 per month $3300 per year ensures housing is taken care of for one survivor.
$67 per day $2,000 per month $24,000 per year supports every area of one woman’s life. This includes housing, counseling, food, clothing, educational and vocational opportunities and so much more in a safe and healing environment where we ensure her concern is not where she sleeps tonight, but what her future may unfold before her with grace and mercy in a life that holds promises that are true.
$20,000 supports eight women for an entire month in all the ways mentioned above and allows the program to be fully operational with our staffing of trauma informed social workers, case managers, a residential program manager, registered nurse and specialized mentors equipping survivors with all that is needed to empower them for the future!
$250,000 fully funds the home program for one year allowing us to change the lives of eight women at a time in the home and up to ten independent living women and their children, which we already serve now as well in our “Off the Farm” support services.
So, yes, there are many ways to help, and we would love for you to partner with us in serving our women of the willow warrior survivors in all the practical ways, large and small that will carry forth from now to future generations!
We appreciate every one of you- and the women do even more so. Let’s change lives together- To Get Her Home!
